FROM REV. VICKI:
Please remember as you consider your pledge to support the next program year that members of the board and staff are happy to answer any questions you might have or help you think through what you want to pledge and why. UUCGL is complicated financially and we know it can be confusing; especially for newer-comers.
FROM REV. CHRIS:
The Ferry Beach all-church retreat at the end of April was a big success! If you weren't able to join us, we hope you will next year! HERE are some photos from our weekend away together.
Fair Trade After-Church Sales ~ Sundays, after the service
Fair Trade coffee, tea, cocoa mix, extra virgin olive oil, and chocolate bars will be available for purchase during Fellowship Hour in the Parish Hall. While limited supplies last, UU ceramic mugs and Unitarian Universalist Service Committee travel mugs are also available.
Fair Trade items are supplied by Equal Exchange, an employee-owned cooperative whose mission is to provide an alternative to corporate control of the food chain. Proceeds from sales will be used by the Church History Ministry Team in acquisition, maintenance, and preservation of artwork and artifacts related to the history of UUCGL.
