"Smooth Stones"

All ages will gather again to launch our new program year (religious education for children starts next week). The choir will be back, and we will celebrate "the contact sport" of community, how it polishes us the way that the sea smooths rocks on the shore. Inspired by American Theologian James Luther Adams' "five smooth stones" of religious liberalism.
We want to ingather peanut butter and jelly for our sandwich-making nights, during which we make 250-275 bagged meals for guests at My Brother's Table. Please bring peanut butter and jelly to church on September 11, and join us for our next Meal Prep on Sunday, September 27 at 6:30pm in the Parish Hall.
The Board of Trustees will host our fellowship hour after the service.
We will be together at church and on Facebook Live. For the morning offertory you may donate online here. Those with joys, sorrows, milestones and prayer requests to share with the minister and congregation are welcome to submit them here.
