"Women Tired of Marching"
—Rev. Dr. Victoria Weinstein
Women's rage, women's fear, bodily autonomy as a sacred right, and your minister's personal experiences as a publicly religious pro-choice woman. In memory of my mother, Shirley Lesko Weinstein Mole, our complex relationship, and her legacy of raging advocacy for reproductive freedom.
We will be together in the sanctuary and on Facebook Live.
For the morning offertory you may donate online.
Find the Order of Service here.
Those with joys, sorrows, milestones and prayer requests to share with the minister and congregation are welcome to submit them here.
(You can view past services and sermon segments here.)
Special Collection for Ukraine
UUCGL’s special collection during our Sunday services, to support the Ukranian relief efforts, will continue this week. All donations will be matched up to $2000 through the Grants Committee Social Justice funds. Money will be sent to the humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders. There are several ways to give: our plate cash, and checks designated for Ukraine, will continue to go to DWB. You can mail a check to the church made out to UUCGL with "Ukraine" in the memo. And you can also donate online at uucgl.org/donate and specify "Ukraine" on the form. Thank you so much for your generous gifts so far.
