What Now? What Next?

The board has been discussing big questions about UUCGL’s future, and has asked me to speak to the reality of the church in this generation: what are we trying to do? How are we trying to do it? What kind of process will we engage to find our next “burning coal” that focuses our potential and our mission?

What expectations do those joined in the spirit of our covenant (whether formal members or friends) fairly hold of one another to support and sustain the church as it is and participate in envisioning what it can be?

There will be time for congregational response during the service.

—Rev. Dr. Victoria Weinstein, Worship Leader

We will be together at church and on Facebook Live

If you will be joining us online you can access the Order of Service here (updated document will be posted 24-48 hours before the Sunday Service). For the morning offertory you may donate online here. If you will not be able to attend the service in person but have a joy, sorrow, milestone or prayer request to share with the minister and congregation, you are welcome to submit that here

We encourage the wearing of masks when we are together. Masks are an easy and simple way to minimize worry over sharing germs as we enjoy each other’s company.  For those of you who would like to maintain social distance in the sanctuary (which has several air filters running every Sunday), the front side of the sanctuary by the wooden Lydia Breed sculpture is reserved for you. (See diagram here.)
