Allen Lipson of ECCO will be in dialogue with Rev. Vicki about why faith communities have a moral imperative to work on behalf of fair housing, and why housing is a human right. How did it get this bad? How are we all connected to this crisis?

"The Broken Picket Fence: Spiritual and Moral Dimensions of America’s Housing Crisis"

Rev. Dr. Victoria Weinstein, Worship Leader

With Allen Lipson, ECCO

Allen and Rev. Vicki will be in dialogue about why faith communities have a moral imperative to work on behalf of fair housing, and why housing is a human right. How did it get this bad? How are we all connected to this crisis?

Allen Lipson is an organizer for ECCO, the multifaith organization of 59 congregations on the North Shore and a rabbinical student studying for dual ordination at Hebrew College and the Yashrut Institute. He has taught widely on Jewish economic and political thought, and his academic writing has appeared in Jewish Currents, CrossCurrents, and The Review of Rabbinic Judaism.

We will be together at church and on Facebook Live

If you will be joining us online you can access the Order of Service here (updated document will be posted 24-48 hours before the Sunday Service). For the offertory you may donate online here. If you will not be able to attend the service in person but have a joy, sorrow, milestone or prayer request to share with the minister and congregation, you are welcome to submit that here

For those of you who would like to maintain social distance in the sanctuary (which has several air filters running every Sunday), the front side of the sanctuary by the wooden Lydia Breed sculpture is reserved for you.
