Sunday Service: "The Archeology of Understanding"
Sun, Feb 08
|UUCGL Sanctuary
I went to Greece and France with a key question in mind: what are humans doing here, really? Theological reflection is a central practice for any religious leader but I needed to do some anthropological reflection. What do we think of our own nature? I will be sharing images from my travels.

"The Archeology of Understanding"
—Rev. Dr. Victoria Weinstein, Worship Leader
I went to Greece and France in November with a key question in mind: what are humans doing here, really? Theological reflection (studying the nature of God or the gods) is a central practice for any religious leader but I needed to do some anthropological reflection. What do we think of our own nature? I will be sharing images from my travels.
We will be together at church and on Facebook Live.
If you will be joining us online you can access the Order of Service here (updated document will be posted 24-48 hours before the Sunday Service). If you'd like to make an offering online, you may donate here. If you will not be able to attend the service in person but have a joy, sorrow, milestone or prayer request to share with the minister and congregation, you are welcome to submit that here.
For those of you who would like to maintain social distance in the sanctuary (which has several air filters running every Sunday), the front righthand side of the sanctuary is reserved for you.
If you'd like to look ahead to future Sunday Services, visit our Upcoming Services page HERE.
