"Moving from Grief to Justice"

Rev. Jo Murphy, Guest Minister

In a world where  devastation is palpable every day, it is often difficult not to default to despair and fear. Though this despair is so present, I find there is hope in letting yourself grieve. Join me in investigating the importance of not defaulting to fear and despair, but to find space to grieve and then move from grief to justice work, finding joy and wonder in it all, sustaining ourselves and our communities.

Rev. Jo is the Executive Director for UU Mass Action and is busy mobilizing and organizing with the many UU Mass Action campaigns. Jo previously worked as a chaplain at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, in addition to being a case manager supporting people living with brain injuries. She loves runs that end in brunch.

We will be together at church and on Facebook Live

If you will be joining us online you can access the Order of Service here (updated document will be posted 24-48 hours before the Sunday Service). For the offertory you may donate online here. If you will not be able to attend the service in person but have a joy, sorrow, milestone or prayer request to share with the minister and congregation, you are welcome to submit that here

For those of you who would like to maintain social distance in the sanctuary (which has several air filters running every Sunday), the front side of the sanctuary by the wooden Lydia Breed sculpture is reserved for you.
