The insurrection of January 6, 2021 was unprecedented in U.S. history and dealt a terrible shock to our sense of national stability. Unitarians and Universalists have been bringing their religious values to civic engagement since the country’s founding and must continue to do so. Today we look at those values and connect the body politic with the soul of democracy.
