"Is Peace Possible?"

On this second Sunday of Advent, we’ll explore the theme of peace. What does it mean in today’s climate, can peace co-exist with resistance, and is peace even possible in these tumultuous times? Rev. Beth will invite us to consider how we might use the season of Advent to cultivate peace in ourselves and in our world.

We will also adorn our Mitten Tree during the service. Join in this special UUCGL tradition by bringing in gifts of new mittens, gloves, hats, or scarves to place on our Christmas Tree in the Sanctuary. These items will go to the children and adults served by Lynn Community Health Center Pediatrics Services who are in need of some warmth this winter. These gifts of warmth are greatly appreciated!

If you'd like to make an offering online, you may donate here. If you will not be able to attend the service in person but have a joy, sorrow, milestone or prayer request to share with the minister and congregation, you are welcome to submit that here. 

For those of you who would like to maintain social distance in the sanctuary (which has several air filters running every Sunday), the front righthand side of the sanctuary is reserved for you.
