Respecting Their Nature: Blessing of The Animals
—Rev. Dr. Victoria Weinstein, Worship Leader
Everyone in the local community is invited to come to this wonderful traditional service on St. Francis’s 800th birthday and bring your non-human family members! Bring photos of beloved animals who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge this year (since last October 3) for our altar of remembrance. Please make sure that dogs are leashed and cats are in carriers.
We will start in our Sanctuary at 10am and then move outside (weather permitting) for an open-air blessing of the animals. If you wish to join us only for the open-air blessing, please arrive out in front of the church building by 10:30am.
You may access the Order of Service here a few days before the service.
If you'd like to make an offering online, you may donate here.
If you will not be able to attend the service in person but have a joy, sorrow, milestone or prayer request to share with the minister and congregation, you are welcome to submit that here.
If you'd like to look ahead to future Sunday Services, visit our Upcoming Services page here.
