A Shared Ethic of Mothering

—Rev. Dr. Victoria Weinstein

In a time when biological motherhood is being imposed on women who would have otherwise opted to terminate a pregnancy, the idea and reality of mothering deserves a close moral examination. Inspired by the works of Audre Lord and other revolutionary mothers. Rev. Dr. Victoria Weinstein preaching and singing.

We will be together at church and on Facebook Live

If you will be joining us online you can access the Order of Service here (updated document will be posted 24-48 hours before the Sunday Service). For the morning offertory you may donate online here. If you will not be able to attend the service in person but have a joy, sorrow, milestone or prayer request to share with the minister and congregation, you are welcome to submit that here

We encourage the wearing of masks when we are together. Masks are an easy and simple way to minimize worry over sharing germs as we enjoy each other’s company.  For those of you who would like to maintain social distance in the sanctuary (which has several air filters running every Sunday), the front side of the sanctuary by the wooden Lydia Breed sculpture is reserved for you. (See diagram here.)
