Have you ever created or walked a labyrinth? It is a unique spiritual experience.
Labyrinth walking is an ancient practice used by many different faiths for spiritual centering, contemplation, and prayer. It is a form of active meditation. Entering the serpentine path of a labyrinth, you walk slowly while quieting your mind and focusing on a spiritual question or prayer.
In place of our usual Sunday Service at the church, we invite you to create a labyrinth with "Labyrinth Lady" Ricia Fleming on Sunday, August 25th at 10am on King's Beach (the end near Red Rock Park). This beach has been the focus of much concern for years, and we want to bring healing and grateful energy to it. This event will be co-hosted with our community partner, Save King's Beach. Join us!
*Bring a stick to help inscribe the path. Sandals are highly recommended.
