Connecting Conversations — Simplifying Our Shared Ministry: Study and Learning Ideas

How do we support, equip, and encourage the ministries of the church in an era of increasing social stress, and decreasing interest in maintaining traditional volunteer structures? People want and need the spiritual support, inspiration and community that church provides. What they don’t want or need is committee meetings or complicated processes that feel too complicated to deal with.

I would like to explore this question with you in a relaxed conversational environment: how can we adapt some of our structures at UUCGL to include and involve more people and to make involvement easy and transparent? I don’t have all the answers but I do have some ideas and I am sure you have some too.
