Sunday Service: "Liberating Love"

Romantic love focuses the lover on one beloved person. Agape love focuses the lover on the common good, is divine in origin, and is the form of love that Martin Luther King, Jr. described as “an overflowing love which seeks nothing in return.” Will you be my agape Valentine?

In recognition of Black History Month, David will be performing piano selections by African-American composers. If you have any questions or comments about the composers or the music you hear this month, please don’t hesitate to talk to David after the service.

If you will not be able to attend the service in person but have a joy, sorrow, milestone or prayer request to share with the minister and congregation, you are welcome to submit that here. 

For those of you who would like to maintain social distance in the sanctuary (which has several air filters running every Sunday), the front side of the sanctuary by the wooden Lydia Breed sculpture is reserved for you.
