Getting Started: Family History and Genealogy

Anyone interested in genealogy and family history is invited to join us for this talk sponsored by Seaglass Village and hosted by UUCGL.

This new group is open to those who have been working on tracing their ancestry as well as those who are looking to begin. If you missed the first meeting, you may still join us! We’ll discuss where we are in our searches (or where we’d like to begin) and what current research issues we have. If you have them, bring family charts and printouts, as well as a notebook and pen or pencil. Laptops welcome! We’ll have a computer available if we want to consult some of the more popular genealogy websites. The facilitator will be Penny Stratton, retired Publishing Director, AmericanAncestors.org (New England Historic Genealogical Society). We will gather in the Parish Hall.
