An average Sunday morning worship service contains one or two choir anthems or a vocal or instrumental solo. Prelude, Offertory, and Postlude are often organ solos, but can be instrumental solos on cello, harpsichord, or drum.
Our music director, Frances Conover Fitch, directs the music program for our Sunday services, and any special services. A talented and dedicated music staff supports the program, as does an enthusiastic adult choir that rehearses and sings weekly during worship services.
A variety of professional vocalists and instrumentalists, in addition to talented student musicians, also offer music on various Sundays throughout the year. Our sanctuary is used for recitals and concerts by outside groups.
