Our passion for justice begins in our worship and our religious education program. It then expands into the lives of our community members, the neighborhoods they live in, and to the world beyond. Listed below are some of the many ways you can get involved with our social justice ministries.
Green Sanctuary
We lessen our impact on the environment through making our building and programs as efficient as possible and by studying how we as individuals can live more gently on this planet.
Ministries in Lynn
We have a deep and longstanding relationship with the City of Lynn that includes supporting organizations such as My Brother’s Table, The Boys & Girls Club, and several food pantries.
Ministries in Swampscott
We support many programs and ministries in our home town of Swampscott that include local food pantries and chaplain services.
Ministries in the Larger World
We support ministries in the larger world including the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, the Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry, and a partner church in rural Transylvania.
Other Local Support
Through the financial gifts from many past and present members of this community we offer multiple grants, scholarships, and individual aid.
