A big role our congregation plays is helping people celebrate happy times and mourn the passing of loved ones. We are also available to support members and nonmember of our church community during challenging times in their lives.
Weddings
Our beautiful church building and professional staff are available to church members and non-members to host, officiate, and provide music for weddings. Click here for guidelines on having your wedding at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lynn.
Funerals and Memorial Services
The passing of a loved one can be one of the most challenging experiences for a family or individual. Our church is available to members and nonmembers alike for funeral and memorial services. Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction, as defined by the Parish Minister, is not telling someone what to believe or do in relation to their spiritual journey. Rather it is a process of companionship, listening, and mentoring. One who enters the process of spiritual direction determines, in consultation with their spiritual mentor, what they want to nurture in their life, what that want to diminish or lay aside, and how they will go about doing this. The parish minister provides a mentoring relationship for members of the congregation and for nonmembers. This is a free service, but there are some requirements and availability is limited. If interested, contact the Parish Minister.
Pastoral Care
The Parish Minister provides pastoral care for members of the congregation and for non-members. In the event of a personal or family emergency – serious depression, illness, death, family crisis, etc. – you may contact the Parish Minister. These services are free, but availability is limited.
